EPPE PX

The portable solution in a carrying case
EPPE PX has been specially developed for mobile measurements and installation monitoring. Sensor inputs, direct inputs for current measurement and galvanically isolated voltage inputs make the device extremely flexible to use and allow individual adaptation to the needs and requirements of the user. The rugged carrying case protects the measuring device even in harsh environmental conditions.

Measurement inputs for 4 voltages, 4 currents, 4 current clamps, 8 digital inputs as well as 5 additional sensor inputs and an analog control output make the device extremely flexible to use.

EPPE RX

EPPE RX - Compact power quality analyzer and fault recorder for DIN rail mounting

EPPE RX is an extremely compact and very efficient voltage and power quality device as well as data logger and fault recorder for DIN rail mounting. The 8-channel device measures 4 voltages up to 1000 V (L-L) and 4 currents up to 10/50 A with a sampling rate of 200 kHz and an outstanding precision of 0.05%.

The current measurement is carried out via through-type transformers, which allows the device to be installed in existing circuits without additional terminal points.

EPPE RX conforms to VDE-AR-N-4110 and VDE-AR-N-2120 and can therefore be used to monitor EEG systems in the medium and high-voltage grid.

Comprehensive cyber security protection

Role-based access control (RBAC)
User management using role-based access control makes it possible to restrict users to activities that correspond to their role and to protect the system from unauthorized access.

Central user administration via LDAP
As an alternative to the system's own user administration, the EPPE system can be connected to external user management systems via the LDAP protocol. Naturally with redundancy and fallback level.

Encrypted data transmission
Highly encrypted data transmission makes a significant contribution to secure operation in critical infrastructure systems (KRITIS).

Audit logging
All security-relevant processes are logged. Among other things, user logins, configuration changes or updates are saved in the device. In addition, this data can be transferred to a central network monitoring server using the SYSLOG protocol.

Digitally signed and encrypted firmware updates
Device firmware and all update files are digitally signed and encrypted to protect against manipulation by faulty updates or updates not approved by the manufacturer.

Whatever processes are currently underway in a power system, the power quality analyzers of the EPPE series will register even minor disturbances or alterations. Detailed quality evaluations reveal even the slightest of deviations and help identify the cause of disturbances.

EPPE systems continuously capture all power system parameters for the analysis and documentation of power quality to standards defined by the international standards such as EN 50160 or IEC 61000-4-30. High storage capacities and effective data compression methods enable long-term recordings to be made over periods of up to several years.

As well as continuously recording all the quantities relevant to power quality, the integrated fault recorder module allows the event-triggered capture of transient processes with sampling rates of up to 30 kHz.
