Started in 2001 by Guy Wasfy and Thomas Becker, CEO of KoCoS Messtechnik AG, KoCoS America LLC brings together German engineering and US customer service.
KoCoS America LLC is part of the global KoCoS Technology Group. Located in Westerly, RI it provides sales, calibration, service, and training to North America for all KoCoS' measuring and test systems for equipment in electricity supply systems and laser-optical inspection systems for quality monitoring.

The Director of North American Operations, Guy Wasfy, obtained a BSEE from the University of Rhode Island. He went on to work for competitors for eleven years, eventually bringing his knowledge and experience to KoCoS when he and Thomas Becker started KoCoS America LLC in 2001. Guy focuses on customer satisfaction and heads the sales department.
Brian Burke, our Lead Application Engineer, came to KoCoS America after years of experience in the manufacturing industry and servicing electrical engineering equipment. His BS in Electronics Engineering Technology and his hands on experience are an asset to KoCoS America. Brian is experienced with the wide variety of product lines KoCoS offers.
Our most recent addition, Application Engineer Evan Lachance, joined us directly after graduating from the University of Rhode Island, where he received his BSEE, as well as a BA in German. While trained and knowledgeable in all products, Evan especially focuses on our catalytic converter measurement systems (OMCAT) and our automatic relay testing systems (ARTES).
