INDEC vacuum test systems monitor a wide range of containers during the production and food packaging process fully automatically including bottles, jars and cans. The devices measure the lid panel concavity of closures depending on the vacuum inside. Also crooked or missing caps are detected. This non-contact inspection reliably identifies defective containers for automatic rejection.
INDEC delivers solutions for the vacuum inspection of jars, bottles, cans and similar containers. Non-contact, 100% in-line vacuum test is carried out within the production process. An optical sensor measures the cap panel deflection which is dependent on the vacuum inside the container.
Thanks to their modular design, the INDEC VD vacuum test gauge can be extended as and when needed. It is easy to add to their functionality in response to changing requirements.
Due to the documents supplied and the clear menu navigation in the sensor parameterization, you can set up and commission INDEC products yourself, as has often been done in the past, without the need for support by a KoCoS technician.
The INDEC DUD Detector can be used for closures made of any material, including composite or plastic lids and twist-off lug closures made of metal. All common closures can be measured with one and the same sensor head.
The INDEC vacuum test gauge use optical sensors to detect vacuum leaks. This vacuum technology allows a comfortably measuring distance and prevents collisions between the sensor head and container. Variations in the dimensions of the containers, misalignment of containers and vibrations of the conveyor are fully tolerated.
The touchscreen enables intuitive and convenient operation. Color graphic menus ensure simple operation. Current measurement results and operating states are clearly displayed. In addition to the high testing speed, ease of use, especially during frequent format changes, is a significant advantage. By calling up the corresponding sensor parameter set (recipe), the INDEC vacuum test system is immediately adjusted to the other product.
Housings are made of stainless steel and comply with the IP69K standard in accordance with hygienic design principles. A lot of options make it easy to adapt to existing conditions.
Accessories such as the ejector unit or conveyor belt synchronization are available.
On-site installation is straightforward. Detailed and easy-to-understand instructions are provided without the need for support by a KoCoS technician.
Infrared sensor
These INDEC devices are specially designed for vacuum seals with shiny surfaces. The systems are perfect for standard applications where consistent materials and reflective lids are measured. Recipes can be easily created thanks to the teach-in learning process.
Laser profile sensor
The new INDEC method is always based on absolute profile detection. All types of closures with a trained vacuum can be reliably measured – regardless of material, color, or surface texture. With an intuitive recipe management, large color touch display & PC connection for remote monitoring, INDEC VD 400 offers a flexible solution for demanding and versatile measuring tasks.
