KoCoS is 30 Years Old - Time to Celebrate!

In 1988, the company founder and current KoCoS CEO, Thomas Becker, set up his own business in a converted garage, initially as a computer shop. From its small beginnings supplying software solutions for load optimisation to municipal utilities, the international KoCoS Group has developed into one of today's world market leaders in the manufacture of test systems and measuring technology for industrial and public power supply networks.

The company structure is characterized by agile management and flat hierarchies. Cooperation, flexibility and reliability are the principles which drive the company's day-to-day activities and provide the basis for the development, manufacture and global marketing of all KoCoS products. KoCoS has 13 locations around the world and about 350 employees.

KoCoS celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2018 and looks back on continuous growth from the start. Looking forward, the aim is to further foster and promote the KoCoS technologies which are developed in-house to the very highest standards. 30 years of KoCoS - "This is a very good reason to celebrate and to share our good fortune with others", says CEO, Thomas Becker.

Thomas Becker and the KoCoS team have put their heart and soul into the development of the aid organisation, KoCoS Care (www.kocos-care.org), which was launched in 2013 on the occasion of the company's 25th anniversary.

To mark its 30th anniversary, KoCoS is supporting the Balthasar Children's Hospice in Olpe and the Children's Hospice of Central Germany with donations of 3000 euros each. KoCoS is also involved in aid projects in Yemen, which has become the scene of one of the world's largest humanitarian crises. 11.3 million children there are threatened by bombs, famine and diseases such as cholera and diphtheria. KoCoS is also supporting pioneering projects in the crisis region of Burkina Faso, one of the poorest regions in the world, with the aim of enabling people to help themselves. "We are very fortunate. And it is a matter of great importance to me and really goes without saying that we should give something back to society and to those who are in need" emphasises Thomas Becker.

An important part of the company's mission is also to continue to develop and optimise processes for the benefit of customers in the power, automotive, semiconductor and food industries.

Looking towards the future, KoCoS CEO, Thomas Becker, makes the following promise: "We will strive to give our customers the very highest quality and the best service at fair prices, to create jobs and establish good relationships worldwide and we will continue to take our social responsibility seriously."
