KICK-OFF EVENT FOR THE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION PROJECT ZO.RRO

In May 2019, the research project ZO.RRO - Zero Carbon Cross Energy System - started with the handover of the funding decision to the Technical University of Ilmenau.

On the picture from left to right: Dr. Wolfgang Langen (BMWi), Manuel Schütz (KoCoS Messtechnik AG), Dr. Steffen Schlegel (TU Ilmenau), Prof. Dr. Bretschneider (Fraunhofer IOSB-AST), Dr. Dirk Schramm (IfE GmbH), Prof. Dr. Viktor Wesselak (Hochschule Nordhausen).

In the collaborative project, the university and a consortium are researching how energy supply can be made CO2-free in the future, using Thuringia as an example and as a representative of regions with similar structures.

As a partner of the Technical University of Ilmenau, we are proud to be involved in this project.

Other project partners are Fraunhofer IOSB-AST, Trianel GmbH, Ingenieurbüro für Energiewirtschaft IfE GmbH, Nordhausen University and Thuringian Renewable Energy Network (ThEEN) e.V.
