ACTAS CCF160

Stationary Circuit Breaker Test System ACTAS CCF160

Stationary test system for carrying out fully automatic final factory tests, type tests and function tests on all types of switchgear devices, including the drive units of switch bays. Up to 8 drive units can be tested sequentially. All the electrical and mechanical parameters needed for the assessment of switching performance are measured in real time and evaluated without either the main contact chambers or the drive unit having to be opened. The operating states of the test system and all the drive units are indicated on an LED indicator panel. The test system can reproduce drive control with the aid of a logic module. This makes it possible to test any drive even if there is no control unit.
The system has analog and incremental input channels for the acquisition of analog quantities. Binary measurement channels enable measurements to be made on auxiliary contacts and main contact chambers. The standard model can control 3 opening coil circuits and 2 closing coil circuits separately per pole. The software package included in the scope of delivery can be used to carry out all kinds of tests, from test procedures which run autonomously to comprehensive, automatic tests of a switchgear device.

Inputs and outputs of the breaker and drive test system

Control outputs:
3 x control for opening coils with 3 switchable circuits each, including control current measurement
3 x control for closing coils with 2 switchable circuits each, including control current measurement
8 relay outputs
4 analog outputs (0...10 V)
3 digital outputs RJ45 for controlling external devices

Analog/incremental inputs:
6 analog +/-10 V inputs for sensors
2 analog 0…20 mA inputs for sensors
6 incremental inputs for sensors
2 voltage measurement channels 300 V / 500 V,
1 current measurement channel 100 A peak

Binary inputs:
3 x 4 main, resistive and PIR contacts,
52 auxiliary contacts

Additional inputs and outputs per drive position:
14 auxiliary contacts
1 x incremental input

The number of external, freely usable inputs and outputs depends on the additional device options. For the regulation of an internal source, for example, one analog output is required for the actuating signal, one analog input is required for the feedback signals and 2 binary outputs are required for release and AC/DC switching.

Cabinet design:
ACTAS CCF160 is mounted in a 19" standard cabinet. All externally available interfaces required for tests are provided on standard connection panels for inputs and outputs in the form of multi-pole industrial plug connectors. The internal power supply for relay control and the power supply to analog and digital sensors connected externally are provided by built-in power supply units. Integrated sources can be provided as an optional extra for powering external actuators such as spring-charging motors, release coils or heating systems. External sources can be connected via a connection panel. All sources, coils or heating systems are controlled via relays. Internal sources are regulated by the test system. The status of the test system and all active releases are shown on the indicator panel.

All external voltages can be switched off by means of an EMERGENCY STOP button. A safety switchgear device is integrated for the interruption of the safety electric circuit. It fulfills requirements for international use through certification to BG, UL, cUL, CCC and Gost. There is also an additional safety binary input on the connection panel which can be used to monitor an external door contact, for example.

The cabinet is powered via a mains supply panel and multi-pole industrial plug connectors with a maximum load of 32 A. There is an additional fused 25 A output integrated in the emergency stop circuit for supplying external sources.
