QU-Monitor

The Q-U protection function can be tested fully automatically with the QU-Monitor. The QU-Monitor supports and evaluates the various different response characteristics for the Q-U protection function implemented by the manufacturers of protection devices.

Test points can be defined either graphically or numerically in the P/Q diagram. The software automatically calculates the test values, taking the configured start and end values of the ramps and the defined test conditions into account. By defining the fault loops, it is also possible to test the logical link in one step.

As well as verifying the operating characteristic, it is also possible to determine the starting and reset values of the protection relay for the undervoltage threshold, minimum current, minimum reactive power and the power angle.
