Simple measurement object selection with scanner and templates

Using a scanner, product codes can be read in directly from the part under test in data matrix format. The appropriate
measurement object template is called up automatically,  eliminating incorrect measurements resulting from the use of the wrong template.

Easy-to-operate control panel

The control panel complete with results display is located on the measuring unit itself, allowing the system to be used simply and effectively without the software. Operator promp-ting via light signals facilitates operation.

Intuitive operator interface

Measurement procedures are carried  out automatically in accordance with a defined test plan with the aid of the user interface of the OMCAT software. The software can also display detailed information for production personnel, including evaluations of individual measurement levels.

Comprehensive expert interface

The expert interface features comprehensive settings and  evaluation options for process control. Templates for specific measurement tasks can be defined here and measurements can be examined in detail, simulated and  reprocessed.
