Two system versions for customized solutions

OMCAT PRE and OMCAT PRO are different versions of the measuring system designed to meet the requirements of a specific field of application.

OMCAT PRE - the ideal solution for process control

OMCAT PRE systems can measure the shape of monoliths quickly and exactly during the manufacturing process and are much faster than a 3D coordinate measuring machine. During the manufacture of converters, OMCAT PRE can be used to evaluate process parameters. If GBD is the target quantity for process control, weighing scales are integrated to measure the weight of the mat. The data acquired in this way can be communicated to the process environment for production control.

OMCAT PRO - the flexible solution for quality control

OMCAT PRO combines the functions of OMCAT PRE with the option of evaluating the gap, GBD and eccentricity of the  monolith in the sleeve for the purposes of quality control. The data from the catalytic converter measurement is automatically matched to the data from the monolith measurement. The thickness of the sheet metal sleeve can also be evaluated for calculation of the gap. Test and measurement results can be saved in a wide range of different formats, including QS-Stat.  The high measurement speed achieved by OMCAT PRO allows 100% in-line quality control, even for fully assembled components.
