Measurement procedure

Form and GBD tests on catalytic converters are carried out according to the same procedure, irrespective of the manufacturing method used.

1. The form accuracy and dimensional accuracy of the monolith and mat are determined before assembly.
   
   
2. These measurements are used  to determine the parameters for controlling the manufacturing systems.
   
   
3. The fully assembled catalytic converted is measured once again.
   
   
4. Together with the results of the first measurement step, this  measurement is used to determine the GBD.
   
   
5. Finally, the measurement data is saved for the purposes of  quality documentation.
