A wide range of monoliths and converters produced using different manufacturing methods can be measured and tested with just one OMCAT measuring system.
The measuring results are saved permanently and can be reproduced at any time. Form tests and GBD tests are carried out under identical test conditions, irrespective of the manufacturer of the production line, affording a high degree of flexibility in production process planning.
No manual alignment of measurement objects
One major advantage of OMCAT systems is their ability to automatically map the raw data from the measurement to the nominal contour of the measurement object. No attention needs to be paid to the correct alignment or positioning of the measurement object. The measurement object is simply placed on the precision rotary stage and the measurement process can be started directly.
No manual alignment of the measurement sensor
The heights of the measurement levels for section measurements are freely selectable. The measurement positions are defined in the measurement object templates, making it unnecessary to adjust the sensor by hand. The linear actuator automatically moves the sensor to the appropriate measurement positions for fast, flexible measurements.
