Easy installation, universal application

Communication between the control PC and the measuring system via USB cable makes it quick to connect the system and easy to move it if the production environment is reorganised.
The internal power supply of OMCAT measuring systems
allows them to be operated with any supply voltage between 88 and 264 V AC.

Quality management

Quality management systems used in the automobile industry require proper documentation of significant quality features such as the GBD value of catalytic converters. OMCAT systems can automatically write measurement and test results to a database or text file. Production parameters are optimised for each specific part and communicated to  production machinery. Various interfaces including Profibus and Ethernet allow direct communication with the production environment.

SPC concept

The measurement capabilities of a system can be guaranteed and documented with the methods of statistical process
control. A specific component is measured at defined intervals and the results of the measurement are compared with a reference measurement of the same component. If the permissible deviations are violated, the operator is automatically requested to calibrate the system.

Simple and reliable calibration

Every quality management system requires measuring systems to be calibrated at regular intervals. OMCAT can be calibrated quickly and easily. The use of just one calibration piece  guarantees clear-cut results and reduces the probability of calibration errors. The calibration parameters of the control software are adjusted automatically.
