2007-07-10 - Successful event for the official opening of the new company building

On 5th July 2007 the new KoCoS building was officially opened. A lot of customers and contractors as well as guests out of politics and economy were celebrating this event with the KoCoS family until late at night. With the slogan „Let’s celebrate…“ the company wanted to thank the employees and partners for their extraordinary effort during the construction of the new building.
Klaus Schwarze, chairman of the supervisory board, also put it in positive words with his opening speech that KoCoS still posseses the important values “Responsibility and true entrepreneurship”. Mayor Klaus Friedrich expressed the pride of a high-tech company like KoCoS in the city of Korbach. Thomas Becker, CEO of KoCoS Messtechnik AG, gave a short overview of the company’s milestones and was pleased that the courses for an ongoing success story are set. According to this aspect he mentioned the importance of the new building. Under acclamation he also announced the foundation of a new KoCoS subsidiary in China.
Dr. Stephan Werner, Managing Director of KoCoS Optical Measurement GmbH, explained the relevancy of the clean room technology of the new building for optical measurement systems which are applied for the semiconductor industry. Bernd Leidgeb of Siltronic AG, one of the key accounts of these systems, pointed out that KoCoS always provides adequate technical solutions without long bureaucracy. Concluding the speeches, Dean Gisbert Wisse brought out that a company is only as good as its employees.
Furthermore the event continued in a pleasant atmosphere not only because of its excellent barbecue. Despite of the changing weather, two comedians took care of an amusing mood with their spontaneous humour, especially with the guided tour through the new building.
