2007-05-21 - New building to be officially opened on 5th July 2007
Our new building in Korbach will be officially opened on the 5th of July 2007.
The new three-storey building in typical KoCoS style provides over 1300 m² of floor space, housing high-tech equipment specially designed to meet the very latest technical requirements. A new clean room, the only one of its kind in the region, is the jewel in the crown of the new facility. It will be used for testing and packing the measuring systems manufactured for the semi-conductor industry in the required clean room conditions.
A modern training centre is also available to accommodate the many customer training courses, product demonstrations and seminars held by KoCoS. The two training rooms have been ergonomically furnished and offer a wide range of possibilities. An informal meeting space with catering zone has been included to help our guests feel at home during their time with us.
A large portion of the office space in the new building will be home to the "Sales & Applications" department, leaving no doubt that the state-of-the-art communications facilities will be put to good use.
The generously sized warehouse on the ground floor will release a lot of room in our other buildings. This will enable us to give the production department the much-needed extra space they have long been waiting for.
