2007-03-20 - KoCoS products certified for the Russian market
European standards for imported goods are not always recognized in Russia and other CIS countries. These countries have their own product certification system which is similar to the CE-mark in some respects. The GOST-R certificate certifies compliance with Russian standards and guidelines which are extremely tough.
After in-depth inspections by an accredited test laboratory, this certificate has been awarded to all the measurement and test systems manufactured by KoCoS. The fact that software user interfaces, user documentation and support have all been available in Russian for some time greatly facilitated the certification process. The systems were also subjected to exhaustive tests with regard to function, safety and compatibility.
The GOST-R certificate will further increase the acceptance of KoCOS products on the Russian market. The resulting simplification in import procedures is another advantage for our customers.
