2007-03-13 - 6 Stationary ACTAS breaker test systems put into operation

KoCoS has successfully commissioned a further 6 stationary breaker test systems of the ACTAS Cx range for ABB in Hanau. These test systems are being used for final factory tests on the SF6 gas-insulated switchgear produced there for the world market.

The new test stations have been optimised with regard to throughput and automation, putting the customer in an excellent position to meet not only the requirements of today but also the challenges of tomorrow.

The recently rolled out 2.50 version of the ACTAS software has played a large part in this optimisation. The flexible software concept supports the continued use of all existing test plans and data as well as the integration of the existing, ten-year old test systems.
