2007-02-27 - KoCoS continues to focus on growth
The KoCoS group is placing continued emphasis on growth and has founded a new subsidiary, KoCoS Automation GmbH, to further complement its range of products and services.
This new company develops and sells automation solutions for the identification, transport and positioning of highly sensitive semi-conductor components such as silicon wafers. One of the many practical applications of this technology is the optimum integration of the high-precision laser measuring stations manufactured by KoCoS Optical Measurement GmbH in production lines within the semi-conductor industry.
All the components used fulfil the most stringent international requirements making KoCoS automation solutions suitable for clean room environments.
KoCoS has recently been awarded a large contract for delivering measurement and automation technology to a new wafer plant in Singapore, a very auspicious start for this new subsidiary.
