A growing number of users have expressed an interest in being able to operate and control our relay test sets using a hand-held terminal. This would render the use of a PC superfluous for test tasks of a relatively simple nature and would therefore save users the time and effort involved in putting a PC into operation.

Pocket-ARTES is the answer and is available to our customers at an extremely reasonable price.

Pocket-ARTES was developed with the aim of delivering an innovative, flexible and economical solution. The development of a special hand-held terminal which would essentially cover the basic functions of the VD-Monitor could not meet these exacting requirements. Pocket-ARTES meets them all and also offers a number of other substantial advantages compared with a traditional hand-held terminal.

What is Pocket-ARTES?

Pocket-ARTES is an operating programme which runs on a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) under the Pocket-PC operating system. Pocket-ARTES utilizes the technology of the PDA for the operation and control of ARTES II test sets. The PDA's handy size (it really does fit in your pocket!), its reasonable price and many and various uses make it ideally suited to this purpose. The similarities between the Pocket-PC operating system and the Windows operating system as well as the manifold possibilities available in the area of graphical display make Pocket-ARTES extremely convenient to use and simple to operate.
